By purchasing your ticket, you agree to the below terms & conditions:
ARTISTIC RELEASE
Permitted Uses of Product(s). You may use any photographs you have taken at the editorial for personal, promotional, and business use only so long as you provide due credit. Personal, promotional, and business use includes, but is not limited to, use within the following contexts:
- In photos on SECONDARY personal social media pages or profiles; or
- In photos on SECONDARY business social media pages or profiles; or
- In print for SECONDARY business promotion.
Attribution. SECONDARY must give due recognition to all parties involved. This includes, but is not limited to; tagging, commenting, and giving due credit to services provided by parties. Mikayla Jean & Co. must be tagged in all photos as “host”.
Publication Release. You may not submit any of the photographs taken during the editorial for publication. This is due to the rules & limitations of publishers. You are, however, permitted to tag, share and be featured by accounts on social media.
LIABILITY
Insurance. You are aware of appropriate insurance coverage for damage to property, damage to equipment, and errors and omissions. Mikayla Jean & Co. is not responsible for damage, injury or illness to you.
Models. SECONDARY agrees to not place any model or PARTIES in uncomfortable or life-threatening positions/locations.
PAYMENT
Deposit & Refunds. You must pay your ticket price in full unless otherwise agreed upon with Mikayla Jean & Co. If you are unexpetantly unable to attend, the amount paid can be used toward a future styled shoot, mentor session or branding session with Mikayla Jean & Co. No amount will be refunded. Tickets paid in full are transferable.
PARTICIPATION
Opportunity. You understand this is a styled and portfolio building experience. The purpose of this styled shoot is for your portfolio. You agree to not claim copyright of other photographers’ images in attendance and to properly credit the vendors and models involved. You agree to credit Mikayla Jean & Co. as host of the shoot, and not claim responsibility for hosting this event. Due to the limited and subjective nature of the event, Mikayla Jean & Co. cannot be held responsible for photographs not taken or missed, due to; lack of coverage resulting from weather conditions, or schedule complications caused by but not limited to, anyone in or at the event, or by location restrictions. Mikayla Jean & Co. is not responsible for lost photo opportunities due to lateness or lack of cooperation from individuals, rules and restrictions of location, or the rendering of decorations of the location.
Preparedness. You agree to come to the styled shoot, shoot ready, with cameras charged. You are responsible for providing his/her own equipment to participate in the styled shoot with. This includes providing his/her own media cards, batteries, and camera.
CANCELATION AND RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling of Content Retreat. In the case of natural disaster, COVID restrictions, any hazardous situation, poor weather or other Acts of God, Mikayla Jean & Co. will work to reschedule event. If not all vendors can participate in rescheduled event, Mikayla Jean & Co. will coordinate with the majority of vendors.
